Pain Meds

I currently taking hydrocodone for my back and I also understand that this is what my doctor will send me home with for my pain.  Are we able to take oxycodone after GBS.?  I have taken this in the past for my back pain.

Yes. I was on oxycodone after surgery since hydracodone makes me throw up.

Hydrocodome and oxycodone are both fine after RNY.

I'm allergic to hydrocodone, so they gave me dilaudid. I didn't need it at home, but I don't have back problems enough to need anything.

Holy crap!  From hydrocodone to dilaudid is quite a jump!!
