Nexium/protonix withdrawal??

I have been on Protonix for several years, and my surgeon switched me to Nexium after my surgery (even though they are essentially the same thing).  Now I am weaning off of the PPIs and I feel like crap!  Nausea and headaches.  Anyone else go through this?  If so, how long did it last?
