Swollen ?????

When does the swelling go away? I am 6 days post op my stomach is still very swollen and tight at the top by my g- tube , help please !!!!!!!

I had some swelling for over two weeks (but I had open surgery (with a G-tube as well)).  Getting in as much water as you can will help.

I'm at 4 weeks and still my tummy is a little swollen.

For me, the majority of swelling / pressure subsided by day 6 or 7.  Of course, everyone is different, but I would expect you to start feeling better any day.  I found that walking a lot helped with the swelling and releasing the gas, which was very painful for me.  

I'm almost 3 weeks out  and it took me about a week and a half for the soreness and swelling to subside. My incisions are still tender but the swelling is gone. I with the ulcer I got was gone. :(
