Still "Pending" ...

I just called the insurance company again (UHC), my approval request is still "Pending". 

<  sigh >

I would call them back and talk to someone else. I did that for weeks when I was trying to get approved.I am sure they hated me by the time I got approved.Ask to speak to their supervisor and see what happens.

How long have you been pending"?  I will be submitting my papers on November 5th.

the surgeons office said the insurance company has to decide within 30 days. i really want to have this surgery before the end of the year, i am anxious.

Does your UHC plan use Optum Health for their approval process? If so, they usually take about 15 days.

Ask the insurance coordinator at your surgeons office. They would know.

I need to have it before the end of the year too.  I think ours goes through Optium Health. I am not sure. I know mental goes through Optium. Health.
