You've done the best thing you possibly could for yourself--that's what you did!
HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
You're just where I was about 3 weeks ago - sobbed over stuff one minute, on top of the world and so excited about my new lifestyle change - and then freaking the f out over What have done to myself??? BUT, you will settle down gradually - it takes awhile, but you WILL I promise - and then you'll feel so much better! Remember, it's a PROCESS not an EVENT!
For 8 weeks after surgery I was a mess. I wished I hadn't done this, I was an emotional train wreck, sometimes breaking down into full on sobbing that I couldn't stop for and hour at least. The, as I started feeling better, got all the meds out of my system and felt good enough to get out and walk, I started feeling better. Now, I feel that this is the best thing I could have done for myself. I am happy, healthy and active. You will get there, just give yourself time. You've been they a lot and need to give your body and mind time to heal and adjust.
