Pain After Eating

I'm 5 1/2 years out and recently have been experiencing pain midway between my throat and my waistline.  It doesn't matter what I eat.  The pain lasts about an hour.  Liquids don't bother me.  Tonight I had about 1/2 cup of Chili and started feeling the pain before I finished the Chili.

Anyone else experienced this?  I'm not sure if I should see an gastroenterologist or the surgeon that did my RNY. 

I'm by no means an expert, but the fact that it was Chili, and the location of the pain it could be an ulcer.  Might be a good idea to check in with your surgeon and have it checked out.
