Was sick last week, when I was to have my surgery, it was rescheduled til tomorrow.  I feel calmer and not so anxious as I did last week..though that may change tomorrow morning..lol. Just wanted to say thanks to all the advice I have seen on this board, as I have been following it for about a year.  It has helped me.  See you all on the losers bench!

Best wishes! Just breathe and focus on the end result. It also doesn't hurt to ask the anesthesiologist to give you something for your nerves.

WELCOME TO THE LOSER's BENCH! Good luck to you. Remember to drink, drink, drink and walk, walk, walk. Ask for milicon drops for gas pressure. Let it out. Try to walk every hour. Do leg and arm raises in the bed. That counts as exercise. LOL! Good luck.

Remember to bring a photo of your family to look at when they are not with you and a pillow to hold over your stomach for the ride home. Also, remember to do leg and arm raises in the bed as often as possible and walk every hour. Drink, drink, drink. WELOME TO THE LOSER'S BENCH!

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman.  I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
