Hi Everyone!

I had my revision surgery (Lapband to RNY) on March 4, 2014. I'm doing very well. I've lost 29 pounds since February 18th. The pre-op liquid diet was difficult at first. Now I don't feel hungry and have to remember to eat. I'm getting 60 proteins or more each day, but its work!  I'm on the pureed foods now. I see Dr. Peluso on April 10th and will see if I can progress to the next step.  I'm so grateful everyday that I had this surgery. I'm looking forward to better health.

Hi and welcome. Sounds like you're doing well. I'm 7 months out from revision surgery. Feel so much better since I got that band removed.

Lapband surgery in 2009 -  Revision to RNY August 13, 2013 with gallbladder removal.

HW - (260)   SW - (197)   GW - (135), updated on 1-2-14 to 125lbs  HT 5'5"  Goal reached 3/2/14-revised goal to 120 on 3/9/14   reached 4/6/14

I'm 4 weeks RNY postop having problems with getting my 64oz of water and 60 gms of protein. Any suggestions? I will appreciate it Thanks 😊

At 3 weeks I was eating black bean soup, chili, cottage cheese. I was still supplementing with my IsoPure Zero Carb drinks to get my protein. Make sure you're getting your protein for healing and hair loss.
