Vit Question

Yes, Citracal is Calcium citrate with added D3. My doc also prescribed Ergocal (vit D2) to be taken once a week.  I just wasn't sure if I had to wait 2 hours after the Fusion.  I really appreciate your input.  Thanks:-)

You may already be aware of this, but D2 is not absorbed nearly as well as D3, and the prescription stuff is in oil, and RNY patients malabsorb fats, so we don't absorb vitamins in oil very well.  You would do much better with dry D3.

Thanks for all the replies.  I typed the wrong thing earlier (or auto correct is at it again).  I am taking Citracal.  So I am guessing based on the relies that I need to take them 2 hours after Bariatric Fusion.  Thanks again.
