It's all really happening

I got the call today for scheduling my surgery. It's way sooner than I ever thought! September 15th. I'm so very nervous/scared. I've never had any kind of surgery before. 

I know it'll be worth it, though.

You are going to do amazing and so happy that you did this. Like you I had NEVER had surgery before prior to this and I was apprehensive. I am only nine days post OP, but it am so looking forward to this healthy life style that I can hardly stand it! Congratulations and buckle up for the most amazing ride of your life!

Congrats! I'm sure you will do great! I know the nervous feeling you have...I am scheduled for August 25!! I'm having a revision due to a failed lap band :( Praying this bypass is the trick for me! I start my liquid diet on the 18th!
