Numbness after RNY Surgery August 11th
Hi Everyone-
Just trying to see if anyone else has experienced the same side effect after their surgery. I had my RNY on Monday, August 11th, after coming home I realized that my left thigh is numb. It has not gotten any better or any worse since I have been home. I am hoping this is a temporary side effect. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Also do you think I can wait until my follow up appt. to notify my surgeon or should I contact him sooner. My follow up appt. with my surgeon in on the 21st.

YUP! It happened to me because they gave me a heprin shot there and they blew a blood vessel . It lasted at least 4 months!
