Take pictures and measurements. Sometimes when the scale doesn't move it is a good motivator to look at the old pictures.

I didn't take before pics and am too sore right now to get a suit on, but I probably will in a couple weeks. I did take before measurements though because the weight I am right now is pretty much what I've been most of my adult life and it will totally blow my mind if/when some of this measurements get into the "normal" range. Hips under 40"? Seems incredibly impossible to me but we'll see :)

You may surprise yourself. I had been obese my whole life and now weigh 121 pounds. The first time someone called me tiny,I just laughed! It took me about 16 months to realize that I was!

Lol, we will see. I am 6' tall after all. I don't care so much what size I end up as long as I can get it at any store.

Yes!!

I took a set of front/back/side before pictures in two different outfits and one set in underwear and bra.

Then I took photos once a month in the same outfit.

I don't show my underwear photos, but if I ever start eating too much or fretting about something weight related I go to my pictures!!

I also recommend keeping your fattest outfit - and then parading around in it once a month. It really reminds you of how far you have come. I still don't believe it most of the time.

The few pre op pictures I was in, I tried to hide myself behind someone or hold something. I wish I had done what you did . The person that took a picture every month, wow!!! Great idea.
