two weeks out and fever at 102. On my way back. Unfortunately I'm dirty...no energy to shower the past couple days.

Argh took it 2x at 102...just did it again at 99.9.

Turns out to be a UTI and an abscess. I've never had a UTI before and no burning pee or anything so had no clue. I'm staying over tonight and they will drain the abscess in the morning.

I'm on my sixth bag of iv antibiotics now and they put a drain in. Y back around noon. While they were putting it in I was in the ct machine so they could target precisely where it is. They also drew out about 60-80 cc of gross brown puss. Then I got to go ack to my room and oh bliss I got to have cl lemonade and unsweetened tea and water and broth. I was able to get up and pee but it was very hard. Unless I feel much much better in the morning I hope they keep me this time til my fever is actually gone for good. I am worried about being home alone m-f next week with this back drain.

Argh. Now it's looking like a staph infection. They are trying to decide if they are going to do open surgery to clean out the rest. Already they've gotten out about 100 cc total. I'm scared and tired and just want to be better.
