Mixed Protein Powder

I mixed a protein shake up this morning, almond milk and vanilla protein powder....I went out for the day and I forgot  it,   how long is it good for?     A few hours?  How about overnight?

Well, I've left mine for a day at my desk at work and they end up stinking to high heaven!  If it is refrigerated then it should be OK for a while, but if you left it out I wouldn't mess with it if it's been more than a few hours.

If you left it sitting out of the Frig all day I would not drink it.

Oh I am sorry,  I didn`t think to say whether I left it on the counter or in the fridge.

It was and still is in the fridge.     Mixed it up around 9 AM.....Just wondering if the protein breaks down or something?   after so many hours?      

• no'it doesn't break down. I have drank mixes stored I the fridge just fine.

How long can you keep a a protein shake that you mixed up yourself,?       Is it still good over night?
