dandruff after RnY?
I have never had dandruff before, so this is weird. has anyone heard of this? also does anyone else have a really dry nose?

The dandruff is likely the result of a zinc deficiency. Watch for this in your next set of labs. My NUT told me to start taking 50 mg of Zinc daily because my labs showed a deficiency, and the dandruff went away. I'm not sure about the dry nose.

My scalp was really yucky for a few weeks after surgery. Dandruff galore, and also a lot of buildup of just guck on my scalp. It felt awful and I felt gross because of it. I had had dandruff before, but never such a yucky-feeling buildup. I got a good clarifying shampoo. Several people on this site recommended finding something with tea tree oil in it, or adding tea tree oil to my current shampoo. This was great advice. It cleaned it up, and I have not had trouble since.
I had it for 2 months... Hardcore... Labs all came back fine... I upped my healthy fats and it started to get better... Check with your NUT to be sure... But I never had it before surgery.
