Thoughts on isopure. Good bad???  Better then the powder?

I liked the taste of Isopure prior to surgery but it tasted horrible afterwards. I can tolerate the grape when it's very cold.

If you are talking about the flavored protein waters, I think they are absolutely disgusting.  They have a nasty aftertaste and made my tongue feel like it had a weird coating on it. Some people think they are ok, though, and the only way to know what you will think about it is to try them.

People disagree more about what is good and bad in protein drinks than about almost anything else on the face of the planet! What 10 people here say they love, you may hate.

Individual samples will save you a lot of money wasted on things that you think aren't drinkable or that you have to drink with your nose pinched closed!

I've used the pre-mixed Isopure since surgery however I don't like the taste of this or any other protein drink straight however this premixed I tolerated better than anything else.  I'll make up a bottle of crystal light and then in my large jug just mix the bottle of crystal light with about 1/2 a bottle of the protein drink and ice.  I'll drink at least 1 or two of these a day.  As the previous person posted everyone has different tastes and you need to find what works for you.

i used isopure protein powder pretty exclusively after surgery. it was the only one that didn't make me gag. now i use tera's whey protein powder for the occasional shake. i don't drink them nearly as much anymore.

ETA: i find all pre-mixed drinks to be totally inedible. i'm just referring to the powder above.

You can duplicate the taste of the premixed Isopure. Just strain some Alpaca urine through underwear you've worn for a week.

You know the taste you get in your mouth after you vomit and have not yet rinsed your mouth..... that's the after taste it had to me.  Left a weird coating in my mouth as well.  Glad I only bought one bottle to test it.  I got it at GNC.

I have a case (minus one bottle). Free to anyone in Mercer County, NJ area.

If not, I might try it as weed killer.

Hated it, the aftertaste was barely palpable!  That being said, I am having hard time with all protein shakes, drinks, juices.  My gag reflex wants to instantly kick in.  Moving on to unflavored as soon as I can find one with all the dietary requirements.
