Sick before surgery !!?

So yesterday had a little soreness and a little cough, today I realized Yep, I've got the crud! I Got PCM to give me the goods in hopes that I'll be clear before surgery!! Any other tips and tricks to try to speed this up?! 

A cold only lasts 3-5 days and unless you have some sort of chest infection, will make no difference to your surgery.   Keep up your fluid intake and keep those hands washed! 

I got a cold before my surgery and took everything i could to help, but they delayed my surgery about a week, at the time i was sooo upset because i had so much planned around it, people flying in from out of state, etc. but looking back it was the best decision; pneumonia is terrible and with the anesthesia etc it can happen so easily; i hope you get rid of the cold quick, but everything will work out for the best :)))
