Chat room

Have any of you been on this site long enough to remember the chat room? I was scrolling thru posts tonight and ran across a woman who used to chat. She was ? A plus size model in NYC. But surgery dates dont add up, in fact nothing ads up?

I have been on the site since 2003 and never used the chatroom, but think it was available in the early 2000's.

I joined OH in late 2001. The Chat Room was VERY active, then, and I made true friends, who are still my friends, today. There was only the Main Forum, back then - no private groups, etc, so really all my pre and fresh op info/support came from my Peeps, in the Chat Room...

Fast forward, a few years...People acted ignorant...screwed it up, for everyone...As People will do...OH just it down...

It's why the sex board and singles boards imploded too. Wonder where all those peeps are now?

There are always people who have to push too far, it's a shame.

Having said this, OH is no longer a dangerous place, so while it would be nice to have more traffic, our personal lives, away from the forums, are no longer unsafe.

The Sex Board...ahhhhh...memories...Remember "lingerie Friday"???? I never had the nerve, myself, but KUDOS, to those, that did!!

Once, I saw the nips of a lady I knew IRL...LAWD...you'd think I had never seen saggy boobs and nips, at the knees before...but it freaked me out...then I found out she and her husband were Swingers...AFTER I had seen HER nips, and HIS escaping crotch hairs...

Some things just cannot be unseen...

I used chat room support for HOURS each day right before and after my insurance approval process and surgery it was very helpful going through excess food withdrawals recovery and knowing what to expect . Also made some great friends on there .

I wish OH would put it back it increased traffic to the site tremendously And I'm sure contributed to OH s economic success

One nasty troll named Yvonne ruined it for everyone she worked in IT and published people's personal information . At the time it seemed pretty shocking ... I don't think it would be likely to happen again nor would I complain knowing that the chat room would b entirely eliminated . :(
