I agree with you on True Detective. Hank was a pitiful guy in the end. I can't believe he got taken by his Ruskie bride, think he would have known better. A show I started recently is Griselda. It is set in the early 80s about a woman who fled Columbia and started a drug empire in Florida. So far it is good.

I remember a co-worker telling someone that I was the most politicly-correct person that ever existed. I think about everything and sometimes wish I was able to express a negative response without any thought.

It is funny to be so socially correct. Recently DH, DD, plus 2 of her friends went to Panera. I ordered a grill cheese sannie, it was terrible. Not crispy, made with a slice of what looked like American cheese. Just yuck. I left half of it on my plate. A worker who was clearing the tables asked it I wanted ago box. I told her no thank you the sandwich was terrible. DD and DH plus friends looked and reacted as if I had two heads for saying that!

QOTD- No filter here, my roommate calls it Splicer Mode as in (Cable Splicer). I've spent my entire work life in non-traditional jobs working almost entirely with men. I also have no poker face...

I went to the wool sale on Saturday and got to see sheep, an alpaca, a gorgeous huger rooster and other misc. animals. I was good and didn't buy any more fleeces. I still have a large garbage bag filled with fleeces that I need to wash and process. It's more of a summertime thing. I did talk to some of the people there and got some advice on my roommates spinning wheel. So for me that is a win, I don't normally talk to people. But like I told my roommate they are my kind of people, they spin and knit and have the same interests so it's easy to talk to them.

I didn'****ch the game, but did find the Jason Mamoa commercial, it was fun. I don't know about any of the other commercials.

I will check out Tracker, Justin Hartley is easy on the eyes...

Have a great day everyone!

Hello and Happy Monday-

How many of you watched the Super Bowl? I didn't. I am one of those lucky wives whose spouse doesn'****ch that much sporting events. Just MMA and powerlifting/bodybuilding. Yay for me. I think the only time I really watched the Super Bowl was when I went to a SB party, but even then, it was more socializing than watching.

Pretty uneventful weekend. Mostly just workouts, a massage, and a yoga stretching workout. I also went out to the yard to dog poop duty. It has been a hot minute since we have cleaned up the poop d/t weather (and maybe laziness) and it was a bit overwhelming the amount out there! I didn't get the whole yard done but it has rained the last 2 days so wasn't able to get back out there. I will need to recruit one of the kids to help me get this ****ty (pun intended) job done.

Last week I finally was able to get into the GI specialist for my consultation regarding management of my short bowel syndrome. It sounds positive. We are taking a step wise approach to adding medications to reduce incidences of diarrhea. First, he added a bile acid binder. As I no longer have my ileum (part of the small bowel) where the bile acid is reabsorbed the thought is that binding the bile will help slow down the GI tract motility. I started the medication last Wednesday, but I am not thinking it will work for me. Since then, it seems that I am up multiple time a night to go to the bathroom (plus the usual amounts during the daytime) plus gurglys stomach. I will send the specialist a question on how soon I should see some results. Nonetheless, being up multiple times in the night leaves me tired.

Today, I had lunch with a work friend *****cently retired. It was nice to catch up with her. Then I got my hair did (color and cut). I will finish up the day with Pilates with weights and bands.

QOTD: At work I think I have a fairly tight filter. I think that I am 2 different people between work and home. In my real life at home, I would say a medium filter. I have a tendency to not say things to prevent arguments. Not a great trait.

Meals per usual trying to get 2500 calories. Weight remains stable between 123-126.

Exercise as above.
