Good morning! Friday-Eve here we go. I think you gave them more patience than anyone could have. How frustrating that in the end it didn't work out. I'm taking a sick today to try and kick these allergies. I went to urgent care last night to rule out strep and they gave me a steroid shot to try and reduce the symptoms. So today will be a couch and tv day.

QOTD: Dutch Bros here always have the longest lines but there are way more Starbucks locations.

TSS: 9 years 6 months

B: SF latte, Fiber/protein oatmeal, turkey sausage, and an orange

L: Turkey and cheese sticks, carrots, light and fit yogurt and some fruit

S: Protein puffs, a piece of fruit and yogurt

D: Shredded chicken breast, zero carb tortillas, cauliflower rice, guacamole, banana, and dark chocolate

ES: yogurt and toast

E: sleeping count?

V/W: On track

QOTD- More Starbucks than anything, but my roommate likes Dutch Bros. I don't like Starbucks because they over roast their beans and it tastes burnt. We used to have a local coffee shop that we went to every Sunday, but it no longer exists and we used to meet my parents there. It was a really nice place the community would support. Sad that it is gone.

QJB- I have Consumer Cellular (they use AT&T and T-Mobile for their networks) and I ordered a new phone and had it the next day. It was $29 to expedite the shipping. My phone was not charging wirelessly and I was afraid that it would die. I would recommend them as I get a discount for being an AARP member and they are an all US call center. Their phones are unlocked and you don't get all of the apps that the other carriers load you down with.

Not much going on here, I need to get to work.

Have a great day everyone!

G'morning all!

QJB - you should do a TikTok about Verizon like the woman who did who the F did I marry? Your saga is long enough that you can do the 50 episode series and I hear she is getting a lot of $$$. I'm sure Verizon would go out of their way to rectify the wrong and At&T might come to your rescue like a knight in shining armor.

QOD: I am the plain one who actually likes starbucks. We have one in every corner and I looove it. I use my app for mobile orders so I'm not standing in line or talking to anyone. A quick in and out and I have my coffee.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Starbucks egg bites
  • Protein pudding, iced coffee w/PP
  • TJ kebabs w/Fage yogurt
  • E: strength day

Happy almost Fri-yay!

Good morning! Jim wore my butt out yesterday!!! We had the best day. We double dipped and did the stairs AND Mt. Helix, had a fun lunch and spent a couple hours puttering around Mission Bay on an electric boat, followed that up with a walk around Coronado and a terrific dinner. Marilyn is a true doll. The weather was perfection. It's like a Hallmark movie around here. Super mellow, lovely company, cooperating weather. We logged nearly 18,000 steps and 53 flights of stairs yesterday and I slept like a log. I'm a little sore today so while Rog gets the car ready for a road trip, I've got a nice easy stretching yoga class to stream. And then maybe a walk just to get my heart rate up.

This evening we are meeting Jim and Marilyn in Balboa Park to walk around and then have dinner at the Prado. It should be beautiful before dinner and after when it's dark out. I hope to be able to walk across the Laurel street bridge them. It's a very scenic little stroll.

QoTD: I haven't had real coffee in years so I can't really speak to this.

Foods today. Like Chrissy, we have tons of leftovers. So I need to work through some of those.

B: two scallops, goat cheese polenta and maybe an egg

L: braised short rib with a little mashed potato

S: We have a cheese plate we ordered for the boat yesterday that is the prettiest thing, barely touched it, so I'll nibble from that.

D: TBD!

Peace Everybody.

Those stairs are great. Great job on the amounts of steps. I love the soreness I get the day after when I push myself, as long as it's not painful but just sore.

Good morning all and Happy Friday,

Yesterday, took a turn for the worse mentally at 10am. It started with my pain management doctor's visit for back injections. I was a negative Nancy for the rest of the day. I couldn't start my day over at any second. I was doom and gloom and ended up in bed late afternoon. I had had enough of the day.

QOTD- The most locations belong to Dunkin. The most popular is Starbucks. I frequent Starbucks multiple times a week and am typing from there right now.

B: lox and bagel.

L: leftover Italian beef dipped with olive salad not giardeniera.

D: chicken Fricassee, green beans, dried mango.

Be kind to one another.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
