CPAP and Cats

Need some help.. i was just diagnosed with sleep apnea and have the cpap machine. My problem is my cat will not leave the hose alone... she keeps trying to chew it. i don't know what to do. I'm only on my second night using the machine, but has anyone else gone through this and what did you do.. i cant lock my cat out of our room.. that is where she sleeps. has anyone found a solution with the hose covers at all helping

any input is greatly appreciated

Hi Stephie,

I have a cat and I have using the machine since 4 years ago. My cat never try to play or chew the hose.
I would recommend to give the cat an old hose to chew.

i actually bought the condesation cover.. i could of made it instead of paying 25 bucks for it but oh well.. anyway she hasnt touched it since. it was the hose rubbing my bed how it makes that sound i think thats what attractived her... thanks for the help
