I got the OK from my doctor for a long journey to SIngapore in July. When we go I will be 4 months post op. Any advice for the long journey? I guess I will have to pack my own protein drinks. Any info from anyone who traveled long distances just a few months post op would be greatly appreciated!!

If you have an IPAC or something similar, download some games and that will help pass the time. Most international flights have movies that also help. I like to take some Tylenol PM and and a benedryl to help sinuses and to help sleep. If it's not turbulent, getting up every now and then and walking the aisles helps. I also have an IPOD and I download some nice easy music to listen to that will help me sleep. The planes often will have music for the locale you are going to and I like to listen to that, helps get me in the mood for that country. If you have a book about Singapore, that will be a good time to review that. Remember, don't chew gum in Singapore! Have fun! Linda
