Can you chew gum with the VSG?

I do occasionally.. I also use straws

I chew gum, but not big wads of bubblegum.  Afraid if I swallow it would get stuck,  Not that I ever swallowed a wad of bubblegum mind you,,,just paranoia!

I havent yet but I need to my breath smells like ass since surgery :( Luckily I dont spend much time makeing out with fools or I'd be knocking em dead!

Can we?  Sure, our jaws work the same!

Should we?  Depends, definitely NOT until our suture line is healed, why even risk the troubles?

Me? I dont - why?  Cuz I cant NOT swallow the stuff!  I will put gum in my mouth and in a bit think, hey!  Where's my gum?

In mah belly, that's where.  Its just a waste of money for me.  :} 

But that's the way I have always been, so, there's that!

I have.Ithink it's ok.

I'll chew for a few minutes to clean my breath after a meal or coffee.  Discovered that, if I chew too long, I build up stomach acid.
