Did you mean 3 lbs in one day or week?

I am exactly 10 weeks out today and my stall finally broke, so I have lost exactly 40 pounds.  So I'm technicall averaging 4 lbs a week, but I think realistically 3 lbs a week is my goal.  36 weeks to go :(

So some weeks you might not lose and then have a drop?

I lost 22 lbs the first month, then I lost 8 pounds in a week once (when I was on vacation), but I lost only 5 pounds from March 18th through yesterday (I even had a two pound gain in that time, but I ignored it!), then yesterday I dropped 2.4 pounds and this morning I dropped 1.2 pounds.  I honestly have no idea what is going on, but I'm just glad the weight is coming off.  And if i was on any other "diet" I would have already given up and gone to Carls Jr. after even a one day stall because "I'm not losing weight anyway, so who cares?".  But with the sleeve, I have no choice but to keep on trucking :)  I think a lot of the fluctuation is water weight, so I'm determined not to beat myself up if I don't lose fast enough, but it's hard as hell when your scale is stuck.

most people will lose alot in the first month following surgery, then it starts to slow, depending on your body and starting weight a few pounds a week is usual..if you stall you may not lose for a few weeks/days but then the scale will move again. its not really predictable, it varies person to person.

enjoy the ride

My surgeon said that anywhere from 3-7 pounds a week is normal. And so are stalls... so thats a guessimate.

two weeks out and 12 pounds.  I have always been a slow loser, I did not expect this to be much different.  Although, when else in my life have I lost 12 pounds in two weeks?  Uh, never!
