Surery is tomorrow.  I'm so excited to start my new life....Any suggestions for while in the hospital and while at  home are greatly appreciated.

I am anxiously waiting to be able to say I have reached "onedurland"!!!

Congrats and good luck.

My only advice is to hold on, the ride is a little bumpy at first but smooths out pretty quickly.  Don't be afraid to tell the nurse if you feel nauseated.  They have good meds for that.  Get up and walk as soon as you can and then walk often.

One more thing.  The less crap you take to the hosp the less you gotta bring home.

You got that right! I took way too much stuff - I used the hospital's stuff.

Congrats to you!

Have a boring recovery. Keep up on the pain meds. Stay ahead of the pain. Sip, sip, walk, rest, repeat.

I agree- speak up for meds when needed- pain or nausea.  Look for liquid tylenol now if you can- I can't  find it in stock anywhere here!

Using a waterbottle helps you track your fluids more easily.

Be kind to yourself- you'll do great!!  Good luck!
