1 wk out!

Had my 1st post op apt yesterday. all is  going good! I start soft foods today! yea!!   I have lost 24.8 lbs from my start weight and 16.8 since June 1st!  And lost 9 lbs in 6 days since surgery! I feel alittle tired here and there and tummy is only sore when I bend down alot. But I feel really good!  Got to remember to chew slowly and small bites. and drink, drink, drink lots in between but other than that its easy breezy!!!

Good going. I don't see my surgeon 'til week 3. I started soft pureed today whi*****ludes reduced fat cheese and crackers. That was my breakfast- and a spoon ful of applesauce at end to add moisture to my mouth. Now I'm waiting for when I can drink water!

I don't weigh until tomorrow. Congrats on the 9 lbs in 6 days.

Mimi, why can't you drink water yet? I'm still learning about post op do's and don'ts.

 Glad to eha that it is going so well!!!  I hope for a very similar recovery!!!

And congrats on your weight loss!!!  Don't want to jinx ya, but keep your chin up through the 3 week stall... remember how well you are rockin' in :-)

That's great! Congratulations on the weight loss thus far. It's always nice to hear from people who are doing really well. It encourages me to stay positive and not worry too much about my surgery. :)
