Two day pre-op clear liquids. How much weight lost?

Hi,

I have surgery next week (I cannot believe I'm saying "next", and they had wanted my weight to stay about the same. I was wondering how much weight did some of you lose on two day clear liquids?

My Doctor has me on a liver shrinking pre-opt diet.  This past thursday marked my second week on it and I have lost 34 pounds so far. 

I used salads to get my preop weight off (28 lbs) and did not use clear liquids. Just hope that your surgery goes as smooth as mine did. Good luck and will be thinking about you.

I have a week of liquids..surgery is this Wed. However, it's full liquids, with blended or cream soups...he said ....if I can suck it through a straw I can have it...but no milkshakes....too high in fat....lol I am a smart alec....I asked him so If I chose to puree up a cheeseburger and be able to suck it through a straw I could have it??? HeHe...he just rolled his eyes and smiled. I took that as a no..
I've lost about 10-12 lbs and have 2 more days to go!
starting wt is 260..

i only had to do one day clear liquid the day before and i lost 4lbs. good luck with your surgery! so exciting!

 I lost 6 lbs (obviously water weight!!!) from one day of clears and the bowel prep. But surely your Dr. will expect that and not count it against you.

I had been eating a 1200 calorie per day balanced diet before the final day of clears.
