Surgery tomorrow and a thank you!

Well, Here I sit in a hotel in Dallas ....my surgery is scheduled for 1030 tomorrow. I'm a little worried that I'm not more nervous than I am...I guess i could really freak out if I let myself, but I'm just not that type of person most the time. Of course, I'm also not sitting in the holding area at the hospital yet...HA!.. I just wanted to say a great big THANK YOU !! to all of you on this forum ....I have learned, and learned, and learned from each and every one of you. You're fantastic, and maybe it's thanks to all of you that i am not sitting here chewing my fingernails off! You have well prepared me for this adventure so far!!

Best wishes to you Pam for a safe surgery and a speedy recovery! I am happy for you that your not a bundle of nerves, it just means you have come to peace with your decision of changing your life for the better, and I think that is awesome!
Can't wait to hear how well you did and that your on your way!

I'm excited for you! I hope you are with either family or friends tonight and tomorrow. Please be sure and keep up posted on how you do! I too love this forum and couldn't have been as successful as I have been without it. Thinking about you tomorrow!

Im right there with ya PAM!!!! my surgery is at 10am. my boyfriend kept asking me if i was nervous but honestly im not either just ready to join all the losers!!!

If it goes like mine you have nothing to worry about. Mine went smooth as silk with minimal pain and no complications. Saw my surgeon today 18 days out and was released to a pre-op lifestyle (except not eating as much of course). Good luck and let me know how it goes and if I can help.
