Home (again) from hospital

Hello

Well after my IV infusion yesterday I ended up getting admitted overnight.  I suppose it was a bad sign of dehydration when after 2 bags of fluid in 2 hours I was still dizzy and unable to use the restroom.  Almost 6 bags later (23 cups of fluid--more than I have drunk in the entire last week combined) I feel remarkably much better.  I have promised to make a much better effort at fluid and food.  Of course, in order to leave the hospital I probably would have agreed to just about anything.

I am now 13 days post surgery and really feeling the difference.  I am hopeful that the corner has finally turned and I will continue to improve.  The weight is dropping as the clothes I wore to the hospital really need to be given away as they are too big.   I am still planning to try to return to work next week.  Everyone is rather non commital based on how I continue to do with fluids.  I will keep trying.

Thanks to all for your support and encouragement!

I know it is hard to get in all those fluids. I am one month out and still don't get enough! I am continueing to work on that! Don't go back to work if you are still felling weird! Let yourself have time to get better! Don't want to pass out at work!
Hope you have a quick recovery! It's all down hill from here, girlie!!

Wishing a speedy recovery. Sip rest repeat as far as getting fluids down plus doing as much physical activity as your body can tolerate will help in your recovery too.
