So sorry you are going through all of this. I am on meds right now for the same thing. They did a scope and biopsied three sores on my stomach wall. It came back for the H Pylori bacteria. I am suppose to be on them for two weeks and then go back and do a breath test 2 weeks after that. The doctor felt I had eaten contaminated food some time ago by the size of the sores. I didn't even know anything was wrong. My prayers are sure with you and hope that they can get this cleared up and let you move on to surgery. Take care.

I'm so sorry to hear you're stuck in the hospital. I just got out myself(pancreatitis), so I know firsthand how it sucks. You might want to check into the law about seizures. If it is caused by an allergic reaction to meds, I would think you could get a waiver of the driving restriction.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that the meds got rid of the hyplori and you can proceed to your sleeve on the 26th. And I hope you're out of the hospital soon!!!
