Sleeved on Tuesday

I had my revision from lap-band to the VSG.  Everything is going well, except my white blood cell count is elevated and the doctors have kept me an extra day. 

Has anyone else had a elevated white  count and what was the outcome?

Hi, my white blood count was elevated also.  The Dr. is being cautious (which is good), but I am 8 days out today and doing well.
Did you have a fever after surgery?  I did and my blood pressure was high for 2 days (I normally do not have hbp).  Sometimes are bodies will try different measures to cope when major stress that is put on it, such as surgery.
Do not worry....the best thing to do is walk and get in your fluids and rest. 
You will be fine and at home recuperating very soon.
