3 months out and 51lbs down...with pics :)
Hey Sleevers!
It has been a while since I have been on. I have popped on every now and then but not nearly as much as I did at the beginning. I've gotten the hang of this sleeve now and I am living life to its fullest. I am down from my highest of 280 on the day of surgery to 229. I am over half way to goal now. It is funny because sometimes I look at myself and although I am smaller I still see who I was 3 months ago. So I decided to do an experiment. Right before surgery I bought a shirt on sale. Cute shirt but way too small. I took a pic of me in the shirt and I couldn't even get into it. I have forgotton all about the shirt. I was feeling a little down yesterday for no particular reason (its call being a woman..haha). Anyway I decided to dig out that shirt and try it on and it fits and I love how I look in it. I paired it with some leggings and cute wedges and me and my hunni went out on the town last night. As everyone else says, this is the best decision I have ever made and I am happy I did it. See the pics below...note my pitiful look on my face in the before pic...lol. It is funny that you don't even realize how miserable you really are in your own skin...but in that pic my face says it all. Anyway, later peeps!

Thanks ladies! I'm loving it. Sometimes the progress is hard to see when we look at ourselves everyday. And even though I am smaller, my babe says he can see it but its not dramatic because I think he looks at me everyday. But when he saw the pic even he was amazed..lol. If you have a piece of clothing that is way to small to begin with, when you feel like you just can't see the progress just try that shirt on...pictures are worth a thousands words.
