Please be careful and listen to your body!! BLOOD CLOT

I just returned from a doctor's appointment.

I returned from surgery on August 4...no complaints. I mentioned at my post-op appointments that my legs where sore. The PA said that it didn't look like blood clot.

Well last night there was a red, "half-dollar" sized bump just above my left ankle. It was tender to touch. I made an appointment this morning. This afternoon an ultra-sound was performed.

Yep you guess it I have a blood clot. So blood thinners are coming my way.

Wow im glad u caught it in time! My doctor sends everyone home with blood thinners for 7 days no matter what size u are or how good your surgery went. I have 3 more day of them and will be glad when im done!

I remember your post several days ago about sore calves. I'm so glad you caught the this before you had complications!!!

This is my biggest fear right now! My surgery was on the 10th and it's literally freaking me out. I keep thinking I have sore calves and such and start to stress myself out.
