Did any of you gain weight the first week after switching from clear fluids to soft and mushy phase post-op?? So upset right now

yeah or often people can hit a stall about now, but dont get upset its just your body ajusting and when its realises that your going to keep feeding it, it will let go of the water it is holding...

Probably  a good idea this early out is only weight in at your drs appointments til you get to solid foods so its not going to upset you seeing the scale jump around and then when you weigh at the drs your going to see a loss...

once you get to solids and have your eating more settled then start weighing on a regular basis..  Use this time to work on getting in your protein and all your fluids.

I don't know the answer to tell you but what you should do for the vets on here is to tell them exactly what you are eating and the amount. This way you won't lose the opportunity for them to help you.

I like mini_me's idea. I plan to only weigh myself once per month. This is my first week on mushy so I assumed my loss would slow a bit. I'm also trying to increase the amount of exercise I get to offset the increase in the amount of food I can eat.
