Waiting patiently

VSG on 10/13/11

Well, last week I finally finished my 6 months of tests, consults, and documented diet... how much longer do I have to expect to wait before I can even get an OR date? My doctor wants me to do 2 weeks of clear liquids prior to surgery so I'm wondering if I will be pushed back another month to November...? Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

If you have all the pre-op stuff done and have the approval from insurance, the surgery date will depend on your surgeon's availability.

Thank you both so much! I actually got a call yesterday, and I am scheduled for my VSG on Oct. 13!!!!
