Fiber?
I didn't have guidelines for fiber, but I do/did add ground flax seed into my foods. I figured it couldn't hurt. And, the benefits of flax seed are numerous. I've been sneaking flax seed into my husband's baked snacks since finding that it didn't change the flavor/texture of his banana nut muffins. He's not the "vitamin/supplement" taking type so I had to get some in where I could.
Mixing the flax seed with salad dressings, or creamy soups/chili was also a great way to get it into our daily meals without anyone knowing.
