Hello everyone,

I am due to be sleeved on thursday and I was wondering what kind of vitamins have people here purchased? I was told I could get a liquid multi vitamin or chewables. Does anyone have suggestions?

I hated the chewables! Right after surgery I had to take the acid reducing capsules. I would open them and swallow them with some broth or something.
I was a little afraid to put anything solid in my stomach for about 2 weeks or so.
It was probably just me being scared but ultimately you will just take pills like you always did so whatever you get, don't get the big bottle

You can go to the celebrate vitamins web site and email them for a bunch of free samples. Good luck!

Since most of our stomach is gone, so is most of the intrinsic factor needed to absorb swallowed B12. You should be on a sublingual form, and the sublingual methyl form is much better than the cyano.. you should prob check into a high quality adult vite as well, Flinstones are not really good for kids, much less full grown folks..
