3 Months Post-Op with Pic!

It’s been 3 months since I had VSG on July 11, 2011 and I can’t believe how the time has flown!  I love my SLEEVE!  I know people say that all the time, but it’s just true.  I have seen my body change, my mind change, my actions change…just so much about me change, and not the mention the number on the scale!

I started my journey at 346.2 at the beginning of my pre-op diet.  My highest recorded weight was 357 the last time I joined Weigh****chers.  I am now 289.8 and have lost 56.4 lbs since pre-op and 67.2 lbs since my highest weight.  I’ve include a picture below of me at my highest and me in progress!

I’ve already experienced several NSVs that keep confirming my decision to undergo surgery to get my life back.  Below are only a few:

·         Down from a size 28 to a size 24 jeans/22 dresses

·         Ring size has gone from a 9/9.5 to an 8 – must get my wedding rings resized at some point

·         Shoe size down from a 10 to 9.5 – Have to give up some of my shoes…*tear*

·         Can walk much longer distances without feeling winded

·         Can run up the steps in my home with no problem

·         No more seat belt extender needed on airplanes

·         Can walk all night in heels without having to use my back-up flip-flops

Again I must say…I LOVE MY SLEEVE!
