Drumroll, please... 2 months out!
Tomorrow will mark 2 months since surgery. I am down a total of 47 pounds since surgery!
For the first time in my life, I feel like I have the ability to win the war against obesity and not just continue to lose battle after battle. For those of you who are preop, this is an awesome, life changing experience that you DESERVE to experience. Lastly, thank you to everyone for the encouragement and suggestions that have made me this successful.

I would absolutely NOT say that I'm back to "normal." I would say that I'm WAY BETTER than "normal!"
After the first month, I felt extremely good and was able to go about my usual routine with ease. Now, I'm exercising 4-5 times a week (water aerobics and stationary bike), taking the stairs everywhere I go, walking without breaking a sweat and panting, standing for 2+ hours without my ankles swelling, and not spending the entire weekend lying on the couch. These are just a few things I can think of that are much better than where I was two short months ago.
