I haven't ever posted pics before- but I did an interview yesterday with my doc. in Houston, Tx and decided since they put it all out there I would share. I hope this helps anyone on the fence. I will be 1yr out 1/31/11 and I'm 6lbs away from goal! (my new goal-135lbs)

Very Cool!

Your surgeon came across as a very nice guy, and you looked fantastic!   Way to go!!

(To bad that tornado warning bleeped out some stuff in the beginning, though!  I can't believe you guys had a tornado warning this time of year.)

Nutshell:

Lost 140 lbs with VSG. (Hooray!!)

got pregnant  (yeaaaa!)

got cancer (boooo!)

regained 40 lbs.   (grrrr!)

In summary: Alive & Grateful.

Congratulations!!!!
I just received my surgery date of 2/14/12, Valentines Day. I have lost 33 lbs in 3 months so people are asking why I want to go through with the sleeve. I feel like it is the right thing for me and thank you and others who give us feedback and encouragement.

Thanks for sharing.  Seeing another's success definitely helps those of us that are pre-op feel better about our choice to have the surgery.

Thank You All! I was so nervous during the show I could't think straight or talk lol, but I did it to pay it forward. I stayed on this site constantly after surgery for encouragement and people's post on here REALLY helped me. I still get on quite a bit for continued support. You all will do great!! Good luck on your journeys

PS- @ Sleevedlife- my surgeon is super nice and the weather in TX is always crazy :)

@Goofycake- for sure do what is best for you- I cant tell you how many people told me NOT to have surgery.....I'm SO GLAD I didn't listen and did what I felt was right for me- best decision I ever made
