HEllo everyone.. i saw my doctor for my weekly check up today. i have my surgery on jan 4th. i am happy to say i lost 22 pounds since then :) i am so happy with life.. i am now on soft foods and taking day at a time. i start school up again tomorrow and got cleared to start work on wednesday, im nervous for this week that its not to much to handle but i will find out. i am super excited with how i am doing so far so i figured i would share.. and helpful tips for ym progession will be a huge help :)

Wow! You're doing excellent. If your work is fairly sedentary you ought to be okay as long as you otherwise feel well. Can you leave work early if you get too tired to carry on?

yes i can. my job is amazing and actually the store manager of my job had weight loss surgery, so anythign i need i got. i got really lucky and im so happy with my progress its like a whole new me already ! :)

It'll be okay then. I work a fairly sedentary job but was still needing a little nap that second week. I'm also quite a bit older than you too. Just knowing that I could go home or shut my office door and take a little nap helped when I first went back to work. That is even better your boss had WLS, too, and knows what you are going through.
