Awesome! Thanks for the quote.
Could you tell me how you feel being post-op a week out? I plan to go back to work 9 days post-op and after reading some people are taking 4-6+ weeks off, I'm a bit worried to be honest. I do work in a health care setting, possibly could do some admin type stuff or light duty, but won't be lifting anything heavy. Thanks!

I only took off 2 weeks, but another girl I was sleeved with the same day only took off one week. She was sleeved last Monday and returned to work today. She is a nurse and worked the nightshift the night before her surgery too. She told me today that she still gets tired easily, but feels much more like herself again. If you can get away without lifting anything heavy, you should be fine returning after 9 days. My job is physical, so I will have to be very careful, but I can easily reduce my lifting for a while. Returning after one week is pushing it, in MAO but can be done, depending on the job. Two weeks is a fairly reasonable time I think for most, but I guess it depends on your pre-surgery physical capabilities.
Great quote!
I'm 11 days out and this morning when I woke up I was so very thankful that I didn't have to go to work. I have a desk job but manage a Tech Support group who support healthcare equipment. It is very stressful. I'm on-call 24x7. I'm scheduled for 5 weeks and plan to take it all. I want to be 100% when I go back because I will have to hit the ground running!
