Alright you sleevers, I just wanted someone of your help check to make sure I'm completely prepared for my surgery.  I was just contacted by the hospital and they moved my surgery from Feb 27th to Feb 1st so I'm feeling a bit rushed but definitely excited.  So if I've read all the posts here on getting ready, I'll need to gather the following items.

Hospital List
---------------------------------

1. Chapstick

2. Gas strips
3. Comfortable clothes
4. iPad/phone and chargers

Home List
---------------------------------
1. Broth and protein powder
2. Assortment of protein shakes
3. SF Jello
4. SF popsicles
5. Crystal Light (assorted flavors)
6. Chewable multivitamin, B complex and calcium

If you can think of anything else, please let me know.  I’m just a bit excited/nervous and I’m sure I haven’t thought of everything.

 Thanks,
Chris

My surgery is next Tuesday a day before yours. My list is about the same however I also have, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant and headphones for my iPad and iPhone. Let me know if you think of anything else to bring..

Good luck next week. See you on the losers bench...

Great advice, I'll make sure to add headphones, toothpaste/toothbrush and deodorant.  Good luck with your surgery and see you on the bench in the near future.

ohh how exciting!!! Your life will change for the better even SOOOONER!

Your list is good, I would include a comfortable pair of sweats or elastic pants to come home in, so that they don't put pressure or rub on the incisions like jeans might.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice.  Right now, my jeans rub everything wrong so they'll be staying home during my recovery.
