we,ll looks like sleeve is out of ? wants me to have gastric bypass r&y looks like my insurence will cover it so i guess its time to start lurking on differant fourm thankyou all so much for the information hopefully i can pass all the tests and give em the weight they need may God Bless you all and hopefully i,ll be on the weight loss bench soon !take care thanks dan

My hubby had rny on dec 20 2008.  He lost 150 lbs.  once he learned to eliminate/ manage his sweets he dd incredible.   Only takes 2 times of dumping to change.   Good luck! You will do great 

Good luck with RNY.  I may be there with you - I'm still waiting for Blue Cross Blue Shield to hopefully approve my sleeve - I've been told they only approve on a "case-by-case basis".  So I don't know if they will approve this.  If not, then I guess it is the RNY for me too.
