Protein Bars

What is everyones take on Protein Bars? I have been reading a lot of lables. Atkins seem to have a good one...only 16 carbs. I found one in Target called "Pure Protein"
Chocolate Peanut Butter
200 calories
6 fat (3 Saturated fat)
16 carbs
20 grams of protien
and only 2 Sugars
I had a half of one...very filling and tasted pretty good.
PLUS it has added vitamins...not alot but some, like 25% of daily value
Im kind of hesitent to eat them...dont want to fall into old habits, but they dont seem that bad.
I just hope lables are accurate. I tend not to trust a name brand im not familiar with.
Curious what you all think.

sorry i haven't met a protein bar that i liked   but then again i'm newly sleeved so my new tummy might just find one.....

Im 5 months out and I eat Premier Nutrition Protein bars it  has 30 grams of protein 8 grams of sugar but it also has 23 grams of carbs.  Its really good.  I am not sure if you are doing low carbs but this seems to work for me.

I have tried the Pure Protein bars they sell at Target Pure Protein also has strawberry too and its good.

I like detour bars.  They come in two sizes- a 30gm and a 15 gm.  I use the 15 gm bars, the lower sugar ones.  Made with Whey protein 170 cal 17 carbs, 15gm protein, some viatmins. Costo sells them in 24 packs with 3 flavors- I like them all.  I've seen them at gelson's market, GNC and even my local Mobil station.  I'm very selective when it comes to protein bars and these are my favorites.  You can go to your local GNC to pick up a few kinds and have a taste test.  The cashier said detour was a staff favorite and I agree.  I'm not sure, but I think pure protein was part of my sample group and it was OK.

 I really like quesst bars.  I buy them online.  The flavor I like has 160 calories and 20 grams protein.

 My favorite is Oh Yeah! Protein bars. I also like quest protein bars

I've heard nothing but raving reviews about Quest Protein Bars. They have a brownie one that if you eat it up in the microwave for 15 seconds is to die for. I also heard the PB&J one is phenomenal too.

 I love quest bars, have one almost daily. They really taste good,are filling with 20 grams of protein, but also have 17 grams of fiber. That extra fiber is most helpful. You can get them on Amazon.

Another quest bar girl here too... if you do low carb they only have 3-6 active carbs due to all the fiber... I put ALL of the flavors in the microwave when ever possible and they are delightful :0)

The have recently started to sell them in Vitamin Shoppes... they only had 2 flavors to choose from (I usually get them right from the company and get the combo pack) but it was SO convenient and I was getting ready for an unexpected trip and wanted the bars for the road!

Also, they have like 7-8 ingredients... not 30+ like many of the bars on the market... though in a pinch I personally go Atkins...

I love Oh Yeah you can try a sample box  at vitalady.com or GNC sells them.  I am eating a Atkins Mudslide bar rigth now.  I also bought the Atkins Nutty Fudge Brownie.  Power Crunch is good to but I love the Oh Yeah! The Mudslide is 15 protein, 3 carbs,1 sugar, 210 cal.
