approval from my insurance company.  Wow talk about cutting it close.

This is my very first post and I am so excited about getting the surgery done but on the other hand scared to death as well.  I know this is going to be a life style change for me which I need due to some health issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes and sleep apnea.  I am looking forward to getting to know members here for support and encouragement.

Good luck to you. I'm just over 2 months out and have lost 50 pounds post op, have come off of 4 different meds and I don't need to use my CPAP anymore. After you heal a bit you'll be able to focus on getting healthier. Be proud of yourself, this decision, recovery and life style change is hard, but so,so very worth it.

Congratulations Natalie!  I am so excited for you.  If you just hang in there and follow the good advice on this site regarding tracking your food and following protien/water intake guidelines and excersing...then you will do great.  Best of luck!
