I'm starting to get worried

Ok, so I'm 13 days post op and the scale has not moved in the last 8 days.  I'm on full liquids, can't get in my protein and hungry all the time.  The soups are making me sick, I've tried to get creative, but that's not working.   I see my doctor on Friday, but until them I need some advice.

I am 7 days post op. I am starting to get tired of soups also! I am starting to get hungry, but think maybe its head hunger, I can't tell the difference in the two yet. Anyways, hang in there! I have two more weeks, and know I can make it!

Yeah, I think I'm going to weigh myself once a week because it is driving me nuts.  Next weigh in is the 21st.

What about eating?  I mean I know food as got me to this point, but will I be able to enjoy food again.  I mean I have it mapped in my iPhone when I can eat solids again.  I really want to cry.  I don't want anymore soups, juice/water, gatorade etc.  I know this is probably head hunger, but I haven't eaten in like a month.  I have the day planned when I can introduce solids again - I'm treating myself to a nice filet mignon from Ruth's Chris.

It's hard i know.  It's all part of the process though.  I'm trying to figure out what is head hunger from real hunger myself.  I'm thinking about looking for some bariatric weight loss counceling.

I think we're all struggling with the same issues...some of us struggle with one thing more than another person might but we're all in the same boat.

I had my surgery 2/27 and for the past 2 days I've been feeling hungry. This was so unexpected. I thought those feelings would be gone forever. I'm still not settled with my protein and I'm not finding anything palatable to drink, such as water. I'm nowhere near where I need to be on my water consumption and I'm about 3/4 of the way there on my required daily protein. I thought I could supplement protein shakes with food but I'm finding I can't FIT enough food in at a time to make a big difference in my protein intake. It's all a balancing act, I suppose. There are many things that I want and can have but I can't get enough of it in to really enjoy what I'm eating. I'm feeling at this point that I'd come out better sticking with broths and soups forever. They're satisfying and go down easily.

Steak would NOT be the first solid protien you should try.. Don't want to burst your bibble about that..
It will more likly be fish, chicken etc.. Something easier to digest.
You will eat normal again before you know it.
Are you taking anything for acid??? The hunger could be acid..

That would be perfect.. Just do an appetizer if you can unless you want to eat crab for a week.. You won't believe how small of an amount you will be able to eat and fell satisfied.
I know thw liquids are hard but hang in there , they will be over soon.. Tomato basil soup from the store deli saved me..
