2 weeks out today

 I went to see my Dr today for my two week post op and I am down 9 pounds.   I told her that I have been surprisingly hungry and she told me that I am now ready for some regular food.  I was soooo happy to hear that.   For dinner I had a turkey burger with a slice of cheese.  I couldn't finish the whole thing and it kinds felt like it was stuck for a while.  Guess I need to eat a little slower.   Tomorrow I go back to work so for the first time I actually planned ahead and I have a bad of stuff ready to bring to work for meals and snakes.   I really have a hard time thinking of things to eat.  If anyone has any really good recipes please let me know.

You get food!!! Ugh. hahaha. I'm also 2 weeks out. I have started my pureed/mushies. I was in heaven with my dinner last night though. I made a low fat mexican layer dip. FF refried beans, melted cheese, ff sour cream, homemade salsa, guac. Oh man best thing I've tasted in 4 weeks!

I was surprised i was able to have food myself.. I told my Dr I was always hungry so she told me it was time for my stomach to start doing the work of digesting whole pieces of food.   That dip sounds very good.  I might have to check it out.  Good luck to you

 try greek yogurt in place of the sour cream.  Same textures, similar taste and you get protein!  I  now use it in place of sour cream for all my recipes.

I eat Greek yogurt for breakfast or snacks. I like sour cream plus its ff and i only eat like a tsp of it so it isnt hurting anything. I can never place greek yogurt in its place. Tried...not the same. But thanks!! :]
