Sooner or later?

Ok. My original plan of taking the cancellation date is not going to work anymore :( my work contract had me required to be available til June 8 for work (I work at 2 schools and one of them informed me my last day or school year is may 25th and avail surgery date was may 29th) and the second school hasn't responded to email for when I asked when last day would be but they r the ones that put June 12 in contract .  

So my question is do I try to schedule for maybe 11th  (person my  surgeon office  said they r scheduling mid June right now) or wait til the 25th of June. I would love to get surgery done ASAP (sounds bad but I have a wedding for dh family member I am attending July 21 and I want to look as nice as possible lol) but for my birthday dh bought us tickets to see the broadwy sd production of WICKED and it's on Saturday the 23rd. So I am not sure if I should have surgery 1-2 weeks before that or right after. Would it be uncomfortable sitting in the theater seats for the Musical so soon after surgery. 

 I went to the movies on day 4 and, other than the smell of popcorn, wasn't bothered in the least:)  Good luck!
