Preop appt

 Alright so I have my preop appt tomorrow and I wanted to come up with a list of questions to ask the dr but I am having a hard time coming up with any. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know everyone is different but it may help to know what I may question later on. Thanks in advance!:)

I asked my surgeon some of the following questions:

How many VSG he performed
How many leaked
How many of his patients saw regain
How much does he expect you to lose at particular benchmarks
Size bougie he uses (this a highly debatable topic) and technique
Talk about whether VSG suits you...your eating style - grazer, volume, emotionally, etc

at my pre-op appointment the Surgeon answered almost all my questions except for 1 before i even had a chance to ask her.

The only question i ended up asking her was what Bougie size she used. her answer was a 40.

Don't be afraid.  you truly must have questions.  No question is a dumb question.  So make your list and ask away!
